Extra Credit!
Through out the academic year I will be providing extra credit opportunities, be on the look out!
How to get on my good side :)
My classroom is based in socialized learning, often you as a student will find yourself working in groups and pairs to figure out what is going on. Challenge yourself by putting yourself out there, participate fully in all the activities, ask questions not just of me but from your fellow students, dig deep and ask questions that just don't stem from misunderstanding but also ones that beg for you to think critically about what is being taught. If I see you demonstrating this type of behavior, you will definitely get on my good side.
How to get on my bad side :(
I do not tolerate disrespect in my classroom, and in my eyes disrespect comes in the form of constant unexcused tardies or absences, constantly being off-task, distracting others and especially engaging in any form of cheating or plagiarism. These actions will be met with stern disciplinary action. Do yourself a favor and don't make me that guy.

If a student has an excused absence it is their responsibility to approach the teacher and ask for any work he/she may have missed in their absence as well as turn in any work due on the day of their absence. If the absence is unexcused then the student will take receive a zero on any activity or test performed that day as well as on any assignments due that day. If a student misses to turn in an assignment on the assigned due date the assignment is now officially considered Late Work; All Late Work assignments can be turn in the next day but will be given a 10% point reduction, if the student turns in the assignment two days late the assignment will be given a 20% point reduction, If an assignment is turned in three days late or later it will be given 50% point reduction.
